Texas Research & Technology Foundation Appoints New CFO Rick Hernandez

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Feb. 17, 2022)— Today, the Texas Research & Technology Foundation (TRTF) announced that Rick Hernandez has joined TRTF as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective February 2022.

Hernandez comes to TRTF with over 30 years of financial executive experience in Fortune 500 public companies and private equity-backed startup companies. He has worked in various industries that include oil and gas, environmental waste services, healthcare information technology, home healthcare, department of defense contracting, construction, and manufacturing. Most recently, Hernandez served as CFO at E.J. Ward, Inc, a privately owned automated fuel management, telematics, and electronic vehicle company.
